Overview

Grove - Fiber Tracker (“the App”) is developed by JPM Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

The short version: your data stays on your device. We don’t sell, share, or transmit your personal information to third parties.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. The App does not require an account, login, or any form of registration.

All food logs, fiber tracking data, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device except as described below.

HealthKit

The App requests write-only access to Apple HealthKit to log dietary fiber intake. Grove does not read any data from HealthKit. This integration is optional and requires your explicit permission. Data written to HealthKit is governed by Apple’s privacy policies.

USDA FoodData Central

The App connects to the USDA FoodData Central API to provide food search functionality. Search queries are sent directly to the USDA’s public API. No personal information is included in these requests. The USDA’s data use policies apply to this service.

RevenueCat

The App uses RevenueCat to manage Grove+ subscriptions. RevenueCat processes subscription transactions through Apple’s App Store infrastructure. RevenueCat may collect anonymous identifiers for subscription management purposes. No personal health or food logging data is shared with RevenueCat. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or tracking SDKs. There are no ads in the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
